Wayne Washington is a personal injury attorney at Council & Associates who focuses his practice on representing clients who have been catastrophically injured as a result of the negligence of others. Washington cultivated his desire for seeking justice for innocent victims during high school and college where he worked for a plaintiff’s personal injury firm in his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia.

After graduating from Valdosta State University, Washington attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where he received the Best Brief for Plaintiff award. During that time, he not only clerked for a prominent plaintiff’s trial firm, which received a historic billion-dollar verdict, but also interned for the Office of the Public Defender, 4th Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida.

Washington began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney, 4th Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida where he tried numerous felony and misdemeanor jury trials, bench trials, and successfully negotiated hundreds of cases. After returning to Georgia, Washington concentrated solely on aggressively advocating for victims of automobile negligence, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, and daycare abuse. Washington is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida, and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Georgia Bar Association.

When not fighting for the rights of his clients, Washington enjoys traveling, live music, and spending time with his family and friends. He is also an avid fitness enthusiast.
